World class marathoner and 4-time Olympian Shalane Flanagan is coming to Bend! Run with her and co-author and chef Elyse Kopecky, and then discover the nutrition philosophy behind Run Fast Eat Slow and get inspired to get into the kitchen.
We’ll meet at FootZone at 5:30 for a 3 mile run, out and back on the First Street Rapids trail.
Following the run, we’ll reconvene at 6:30 at Mirror Pond Plaza in front of Crow’s Feet Commons for a discussion with Shalane and Elyse, followed by a Q and A session, book signing, and giveaways! Local beer will be available for purchase.
Event is free. Run is limited to 140 runners. The reading is open to 200 people. You will be able to register for either or both the run and the reading, and to pre-order your copy of Run Fast Eat Slow via the link above. Books will be available for sale during the talk, but to avoid the line you can pre-order your copy of Run Fast Eat Slow and pick up your copy at the event.
