Come run with us and discover new tastes as we celebrate the launch of NRC Portland Season 4 in partnership with Run Fast Eat Slow.
We’ll eat up miles on the streets and then taste delicious, RFES inspired recipes with the authors, Olympian Shalane Flanagan & chef and nutrition coach, Elyse Kopecky.
Even with a full stomach, you’ll leave hungrier than ever to achieve your next running goal.
We’ll take it easy and have some fun along the way. The run will start from Nike Portland and end at Urban Studio – where the authors will share inspiration behind their cookbook, Run Fast Eat Slow. They will talk about indulgent nourishment, answer your questions, and sign copies of Run Fast Eat Slow that will be available for purchase onsite via Broadway Books. Come hungry – we will be sampling a selection of featured recipes, handpicked by the authors. Bring your friends and get ready to make new ones. All paces welcome: when you run with this crowd, there’s a place for everyone. Total distance will be approximately 4 miles or less.
Know Before You Go
Check-in opens 30 minutes before the session starts. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the session start or your spot could be given away to a walk-in. There will be bag check available upon arrival. The run will end at Urban Studio (935 NW Davis St). Cookbooks will be available for purchase after the run. Your bags will be transported to Urban Studio during the session. Please plan your transportation accordingly. With runners’ safety in mind, we do not allow dogs or strollers at any of our Nike+ Run Club sessions.
